K540-4PS three-phase meter
The purpose of the "K540-4PS" set is to perform electromagnetic tests of transformers of all circuits and connection groups.
The set consists of 2 devices K540-4P and K540-4S meters that can be used both jointly and separately, in accordance with their functional purpose.
K540-4P Power transformer parameter meter performs the following functions -
1) Measurement of current and no-load losses at low and nominal excitation voltages of transformers (automatic switching excitation circuits for measuring no-load losses at low excitation voltage only available for transformers zero and eleventh groups of winding connections. For other groups connection of the windings, these measurements must be carried out with switching of transformer windings);
2) Measurement of current and losses of short-circuit;
3) Measurement of the transformation ratio;
4) Determination of the group of connection of windings for three-phase and single-phase transformers;
4) Measurement of DC resistance of transformer windings to current.
During the measurement, the asymmetry, the unsinusoidality and the excitation voltage frequency are controlled.
K 540-4S Meter of windings resistance of power transformers is intended to measure active electrical resistance to direct current of windings of power transformers in laboratory and field conditions.
